NooCube vs Mind Lab Pro: I bought both at full retail and tested each for 30 days using the same focus-oriented tracking method. The difference was not dramatic. NooCube gave me strong value and a noticeable screen-fatigue advantage; Mind Lab Pro had the formula I preferred when price was secondary.

What I was testing for NooCube vs Mind Lab Pro
My work involves long writing and research sessions. Five to six hour blocks where sustained attention is the difference between a productive day and a wasted one. I was not testing for gym performance or mood. I was testing specifically for focus quality and resistance to the afternoon drift that kills deep work.
Both products are positioned as daily nootropics for exactly this. Either they helped me stay in the zone or they did not.
For the full day-by-day notes, see my NooCube review.
The products
NooCube’s current Brain Productivity formula is still marketed as a 12-ingredient, caffeine-free blend. The current site highlights Bacopa Monnieri, Lutemax 2020 and Panax Ginseng, and it lists a two-capsule daily serving.
Mind Lab Pro is currently sold as version 4.0 with 11 nootropics, including Cognizin citicoline, Bacopa Monnieri, Lion’s Mane, phosphatidylserine, L-theanine, Rhodiola Rosea and maritime pine bark. The current directions say 2 to 4 capsules per day, and it is also caffeine-free.
Both use transparent labeling with exact doses. No proprietary blends. That matters because you cannot evaluate a formula you cannot read. If you use caffeine separately, I also documented how I think about stacking NooCube with coffee.

Where Mind Lab Pro is genuinely better
Lion’s Mane and citicoline are two differences in Mind Lab Pro’s ingredient list. Their presence does not establish that the product works better than NooCube.
Lion’s Mane at 500mg is one reason I prefer Mind Lab Pro’s formula on paper. Human research on Lion’s Mane is still limited compared with established cognitive interventions, so I would treat it as a promising inclusion rather than proof of long-term cognitive improvement.
Cognizin citicoline at 250mg is another reason I like the Mind Lab Pro label. Citicoline has human research behind it, but that still does not let me attribute my 30-day result to this ingredient alone.
Rhodiola Rosea at 50mg gives Mind Lab Pro another formula difference. There is human research around fatigue and stress-related outcomes, but I would not turn that into a guaranteed benefit for every high-pressure workday.
On paper, I prefer Mind Lab Pro’s formula. That is a formula preference, not proof that it will outperform NooCube for every user.
Where NooCube is genuinely better
Lutemax 2020 is the ingredient that made me reconsider my initial assumption that Mind Lab Pro would obviously come out ahead. NooCube uses it around eye-brain support and screen-heavy work. I recorded less screen fatigue during my NooCube month, but I cannot prove Lutemax caused that change.
The price gap can matter, but I would not hard-code an old monthly comparison. NooCube and Mind Lab Pro both change offers and bundle pricing over time. Check the current price before deciding whether the formula difference is worth paying for.
The current official sites advertise different refund windows: NooCube lists 60 days, while Mind Lab Pro lists 30 days. I would still read the live terms before buying because conditions can change.
NooCube’s current formula includes Huperzine A, while Mind Lab Pro removed Huperzine A from its formula years ago. That is a meaningful design difference, but I would not claim one approach is automatically better for most people.
What I actually noticed comparing them
In daily use they felt similar. Both produced longer focus sessions with less mental drift. The gap between them was not dramatic in the first 30 days.
The clearest difference in my side-effect notes was simple: with NooCube I had one mild headache around day 19 that lasted about 90 minutes and did not return. With Mind Lab Pro I recorded no notable side effects across 30 days. I cannot attribute the NooCube headache to Alpha GPC or any specific ingredient.
NooCube currently uses two capsules daily. Mind Lab Pro’s current directions are 2 to 4 capsules per day, so the pill-count comparison depends on how you use Mind Lab Pro rather than being a fixed “four versus two” difference.
The screen-fatigue difference was one of the clearest things in my notes. Around week two, my eyes felt less tired at the end of long screen-heavy days on NooCube. I did not record the same change during my Mind Lab Pro trial. That is a personal observation, not proof that Lutemax caused it.
Which one to buy between NooCube vs Mind Lab Pro
NooCube makes more sense to me when screen-heavy work, value, and the longer current guarantee matter most.
Mind Lab Pro makes more sense to me when formula preference matters more than price and you specifically value ingredients such as Cognizin, Lion’s Mane, phosphatidylserine and Rhodiola.
They are close enough in my own 30-day experience that I would not promise a noticeable benefit from either one to every buyer.
NooCube vs Mind Lab Pro: final verdict
I would choose NooCube when value and screen-heavy work mattered most. I would choose Mind Lab Pro when formula preference mattered more than price. I do not think the gap in my 30-day experience was large enough to justify pretending there is one universal winner.

NooCube vs Mind Lab Pro comparison 2026 — FormulaTested
Mind Lab Pro is still the formula I prefer on paper. NooCube remains the product I personally found easier to justify on value and screen-heavy work.
I bought NooCube again. That is probably the cleanest signal of how I valued it after the test.
