FormulaTested is an independent supplement review and comparison website publishing firsthand testing notes, researched comparisons, and educational guides. Our website address is https://formulatested.com.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from network information. If you submit information through WordPress, we may also receive the information you enter into that form.
Comments
If comments are enabled and you leave one, WordPress may collect the information entered in the comment form together with your IP address and browser user-agent string. FormulaTested uses automated anti-spam tools, including Akismet, which may process comment information for spam detection.
If WordPress or Gravatar features are used with comments, an anonymized value derived from your email address may be sent to Gravatar to determine whether you use that service.
Media
Visitors generally do not upload media to FormulaTested. If a future feature allows uploads, files may contain metadata supplied by the uploader, including location data unless it is removed before upload.
Cookies
FormulaTested uses a cookie-consent system to help manage non-essential cookies. Essential WordPress, security, caching, and preference cookies may still be used where necessary for the site to function. Where analytics or other optional tracking is enabled, those technologies may collect information about how visitors use the site. Your available consent choices are controlled through the site’s cookie banner.
Analytics and Google services
FormulaTested uses Google’s Site Kit plugin to connect supported Google services used for search and site-performance reporting. Depending on the modules enabled on the site, Google services may process usage or diagnostic information under Google’s own privacy terms. FormulaTested uses this information to understand search visibility and site performance, not to identify individual readers.
Advertising and Google AdSense
FormulaTested may display third-party advertising if an advertising service such as Google AdSense is approved and activated. Affiliate links
Some links on FormulaTested are affiliate links. If you click one of these links, the merchant or affiliate network may place a cookie or use another tracking method to record that the visit came from FormulaTested. If you later make a qualifying purchase, FormulaTested may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate tracking is separate from editorial conclusions. Commission rates do not determine which product wins a comparison, how a product is scored, or whether a product is recommended.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Pages may link to or embed content from other websites. Those websites operate independently from FormulaTested and may collect data, use cookies, or track interaction according to their own privacy policies.

Who we share your data with
FormulaTested may use third-party providers for hosting, security, backups, spam protection, analytics, caching, image optimization, affiliate tracking and other site operations. These providers may process limited technical information as needed to provide their services.
How long we retain your data
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for site operations, security, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or the purpose for which it was collected. Comment information, where comments are enabled, may be retained so follow-up comments can be recognized and moderated.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted directly to FormulaTested, subject to information we are required to retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or administrative reasons.
